Pattern Defaults

Settings → Patterns → Defaults sets the sort order and filters applied to your pattern stash when you open the app, or when the app has been inactive for a while. While you’re actively using the app, it remembers whatever sort and filters you last used instead.

Options

• Sort by — Name (and other pattern fields).
• Sort direction — tap the arrow to switch between ascending and descending.
• Hide Patterns Assigned to Projects — when turned on, patterns you’ve already started a project from are left out of your pattern stash list.

Where this shows up

The sort order sets the starting point for Pattern Stash — you can always change it while browsing.

Hide Patterns Assigned to Projects connects your pattern stash to Projects: once you create a project from a pattern, that pattern can be hidden from your pattern list by default, since it’s now live as an active project instead. Turn this off if you’d rather see a pattern in both places at once.
